Stylized, compact USB device simplifies converting vinyl to MP3 from any turntable.

Cumberland, R.I. (Jan. 10, 2012)–ION Audio, a leader in consumer audio and entertainment technology, introduces VINYL FOREVER, a compact vinyl conversion system. Attendees can see VINYL FOREVER for the first time at booth #12442 during the Consumer Electronics Show taking place Jan. 10–13, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

VINYL FOREVER helps bring records—and any record player—into the future. VINYL FOREVER connects to a turntable or tape deck via standard RCA stereo cables. The other side connects to a user’s computer via USB for instant transformation of nearly any music collection into digital music that can be played on a computer or transferred to an iPhone, iPod or other portable music player.

VINYL FOREVER has an attractive and functional design that is small enough to fit in the palm of a hand and even looks like a miniature turntable. It also includes everything one needs to connect a turntable or tape deck to their computer, and digitize their favorite tunes.

VINYL FOREVER includes RCA inputs with a line/phono selector and volume control, plus a USB output for connecting to a Mac or PC. There’s also a headphone jack and the included EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter software makes the conversion process quick and easy. VINYL FOREVER lets users bring old music back to life with just a few mouse clicks.

“Lots of people have vinyl and cassette collections that they’d like to preserve but they’ve put off converting them to digital music files,” said Fred Galpern, Brand Manager, ION Audio. “VINYL FOREVER makes it incredibly simple to get started. Just connect and click and your whole music library can be converted easily.”
