Electronic drum stage monitor/practice amp adds Bluetooth® streaming.

Cumberland, R.I. (April 8, 2013)—Alesis, the world’s leading manufacturer of instruments and tools for today's musician, announces the new TransActive Drummer Wireless. This effective stage monitor and practice amp for the electronic drummer adds wireless Bluetooth streaming to the previous Alesis TransActive Drummer. Created for today’s electronic drummers, the TransActive Drummer Wireless is the perfect complement to the many popular Alesis electronic drum sets. The addition of wireless Bluetooth audio provides an ideal method for drummers to play along with their favorite songs, or even to practice using lessons downloaded to their Bluetooth device. Single-button Bluetooth pairing makes it simple.

“TransActive Drummer Wireless is the ideal amplifier to complement our extensive line of digital drum sets,” according to Alesis Project Manager Walter Skorupski. “The addition of wireless Bluetooth streaming provides a big boost, allowing any drummer to improve their skills as they play along to their favorite tracks.”

The TransActive Drummer Wireless provides 75 Watts of power. Sound is delivered through a 10" low-frequency driver, assisted by a 1" tweeter. Together, these components handle the rapid transients created by an electronic drum set. Recessed handles allow for easy transport, and the metal grille provides added protection. The angled front of the TransActive Drummer Wireless offers the ideal monitoring position for the seated drummer.

Nearly all connections are made on the back panel, keeping the top-mounted controls clean and clutter free for quick access during performance or practice. In addition to the master volume, there is a separate level control for the Bluetooth/Aux input signal. Bass, Mid, and Treble controls offer powerful tone-shaping abilities. A convenient headphone output is also provided.

The Stereo Link system allows two TransActive Drummer Wireless amps to be used together in a stereo configuration. Left and right 1/4" inputs are provided. The main left and right outputs are also fitted with 1/4" jacks, and allow for connection to an expanded sound system or a recording console. The stereo aux input features RCA jacks for use with a sampler, mixer, or other music playback equipment. A handy 5V / 1A USB charging port allows users to keep their device charged while in use.

Alesis will be exhibiting at Hall 5.1, Booth B45 during the 2013 Musikmesse, April 10-13, in Frankfurt, Germany.
